Durable heat-resistant ABS resin tableware
A synthetic resin with excellent safety, consisting of a copolymer of acrylonitrile monomer (A), butadiene (B), and styrene monomer (S) (containing over 60% styrene), to which heat-resistant additives (styrene-based super heat-resistant resin) have been blended. It has a specific gravity of 1.07 and a heat resistance temperature of 125°C (practical heat resistance temperature of 100°C).
It features an ultra-hardness of 3H (pencil hardness),
making it resistant to scratches, and it is also steam-resistant
Hard Yogerez® coating
The Hard Yogerez® coating, developed with patented technology from Kasen, a pioneer in heat-resistant lacquerware with 50 years of experience, boasts a surface hardness of 3H, making it resistant to scratches. It also offers chemical resistance, allowing bleaching with chlorine-based bleach, and features stain resistance, making it difficult for dirt from fruits and food to adhere. Additionally, it withstands repeated boiling disinfection, demonstrating remarkable steam resistance.
This is a traditional lacquered tableware with a proven track record of 50 years since its development, featuring a safe Hard Yogerez® coating (yellow part in the illustration) applied to the molded product of heat-resistant ABS resin (red part in the illustration), which has been declared safe.

KASEN’s quality inspection has verified that its hospital-grade insulated rice bowls show minimal physical degradation even after 3.5 years of use (calculated as 3 meals per day × 365 days × 3.5 years = 3,800 times).
Additionally, tableware collected after 10 years of actual use in school meals has been tested for safety regarding chemical substances. Based on these findings, we can confidently say that our tableware offers excellent cost-effectiveness.
