Stringent voluntary standards (PL law)

Our company uses raw materials that have passed the synthetic fat utensils or container packaging standard test specified in the Food Sanitation Law, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Notification No. 370, which includes polystyrene as the main component.
Additionally, the raw materials used adhere to voluntary standards (PL law) that are stricter than the current standards set by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
These products are developed to ensure safety based on decades of research.
Furthermore, according to the findings of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), our products do not contain carcinogenic substances harmful to humans.
We remain committed to upholding the safety of our customers’ food and will continue to strive for the research and development of even safer and higher-quality products.

Cleared of Endocrine Disruptor Concerns

Development based on self-imposed standards stricter than those of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare

Our heat-resistant ABS resin tableware is manufactured with the goal of “creating safer tableware.”
In response to concerns about endocrine-disrupting chemicals (environmental hormones) affecting human health in May 1998, we established even stricter self-imposed standards based on the guidelines of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Over a decade of research, conducted in collaboration with resin manufacturers, led to the development of a heat-resistant ABS resin (heat resistance temperature: 110°C) that does not contain environmental hormone chemicals.
As a result, even under harsh leaching conditions (20% ethanol aqueous solution at 100°C for 30 minutes), substances such as styrene (also known as styrene monomer), styrene dimer (also known as styrene dimer), styrene trimer (also known as styrene trimer), and acrylonitrile monomer do not leach out.

In May of 1998, concerns arose regarding endocrine-disrupting chemicals (environmental hormones) and their potential health impacts on humans.
However, our company’s manufactured tableware has been proven by the latest analytical techniques of reputable institutions recognized by relevant government agencies and local authorities in our country to contain no chemicals associated with environmental hormones.
This has garnered high praise and validation for our products’ safety.

The analysis results showed that no chemical substances were detected in the melamine resin tableware, despite being used for more than 10 years in both scenarios: after being collected following 10 years of use and tested alongside melamine resin tableware anticipated to be used for over 10 years in school lunches.

The safety of Animato School Ware was verified through the following tests conducted on products used for four years in school meal centers and products subjected to testing for 20 years, simulating actual usage in school meal settings. These results confirm the safety of the products after implementation.
